Phantastic Phinds was started by Angela in 2004. The idea behind Phantastic Phinds was to recycle unwanted, useable things back into the community instead of letting them go to a landfill. Angela started the business with just a few pieces that were salvaged from a construction job. She refinished the pieces to make them more attractive and sold them online.
At the time, Angela was working a 9-5 office job and was looking to do something a little more creative, that would also make an impact on the community. Angela got the idea for Phantastic Phinds in December of 2004, and quickly started working on the website. The new business would incorporate unwanted furniture from local residents who were moving or clearing out estates. All items would be put on a 3 month consignment and sold to the public for reasonable prices. Angela built the website within a month, Phantastic Phinds got incorporated, and Angela's business was born.

Phantastic Phinds continues to grow over the years. In early 2007, Angela added small items such as china, dishes, glasses, crystal, silver, jewelry, figurines, collectibles, and artwork to the list of things accepted. In 2009, Angela became a Trading Assistant on eBay and also a Registered eBay Drop Off Location (REDOL). A few months later, Angela's dreams came true and she found a storefront to launch the first brick and mortar location. The store opened in January 2010 at 631 Bethlehem Pike Erdenheim, PA 19038. This location is most fitting, as Erdenheim means "Earthly Home." It offers consignment furniture and home goods from customers in the Philadelphia area, that make the overall shopping experience with Phantastic Phinds one of a kind.
The goal of Phantastic Phinds has always stayed the same: Save the Planet & Your Wallet, Buy Second Hand. Instead of putting useful things on the curb, Phantastic Phinds wants to help you make a little green, while being green for the environment and turn your clutter into cash.
Angela has a degree in Sociology from the University of Delaware.
